2025 Teaching and Learning Conference

On 3rd September, IAT hosted the 2025 Teaching and Learning Conference.

The event was held across three of the Trust's school sites: Princes Risborough School, The Mandeville School and Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School.

This conference, curated by IAT's School Improvement Lead, Karen Crinyion, focused on empowering staff to effectively use technology, especially AI, to streamline their daily tasks and reduce workload.

Garret Fay, CEO of Insignis Academy Trust, welcomed staff and outlined the Trust's priorities for 2025-2026, which included the use of AI, Google and digital technology. His session was broadcast live to all three conference locations.

The conference also aligned with the Trust's "Well Trust Commitment," focusing on creating a "Well Culture," being "Led Well," and enabling staff to "Live Well" by simplifying their working lives.

The conference featured an exciting team of internal and external presenters. Keynote speakers included Roger Slade and Phil Wheeler from Getech Education, who spoke on using AI to support staff roles. The Bourne Education Trust delivered a presentation on "From Concept to Classroom: AI in Education". Lucy Floyer, with over 25 years of experience in education, gave a keynote on developing students as readers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the staff presenters who generously shared their time and expertise.

A special note of thanks to Karen Crinyion in putting together such a successful and impactful conference.
